The Galleria on Main Street

November 25, 2025 — Explore Park City Living With John Brown

In this video I'm walking you through a remodel I managed for a client at the Galleria, right on Historic Main Street — one of the best-located buildings in all of Old Town Park City.

Why this building

The Galleria puts you an elevator ride from Main Street itself: restaurants, galleries, and nightlife out the front door, the Town Lift a short walk away, and rooftop views over all the action. The building is nightly-rental approved, which makes units here work as both lifestyle bases and income properties. Location like this can't be built again — which is exactly why remodeling here makes sense.

The project

When we filmed this, the unit was mid-transformation — a full gut renovation taking a dated studio down to the bones and rebuilding it with genuinely special materials. The finished product speaks for itself: imported 1800s French tile, quartz waterfall counters, a custom Murphy bed, a rebuilt brick fireplace with a real-wood railway mantel, plus rare-for-the-building upgrades like an in-unit washer and dryer and a mini-split for real air conditioning.

If you want to see how it turned out, check out the finished tour: Top-floor studio for sale at the Galleria.

The takeaway for owners

A thoughtful remodel in an irreplaceable location is one of the most reliable value plays in Park City. If you own a dated unit in Old Town — or want to buy one and transform it — I've been through this process and can help you scope what's worth doing and what the numbers look like on the other side.
